Welcome!
I'm Harry Motro
When sex addiction hits a relationship, everything can feel like it’s falling apart—trust, safety, connection.
I help couples pick up the pieces and find a path forward, no matter how broken things feel.
Hard Truths, Real Healing
I'm Dr. Harry Motro, and I work with couples caught in the wreckage of sex addiction.
I’ve helped couples facing the hardest thing they’ve ever gone through—betrayal, lies, compulsive sexual behavior, broken trust, and total disconnection. When everything feels shattered, I step in to help couples figure out if—and how—they can rebuild.
I'm one of the couples specialist at the New Path Sex Addiction Therapy Center. But this isn’t solo work. I’m part of a fully integrated team. The individual therapists who support the partner struggling with compulsive behavior and the betrayed partner are part of our team. We work together—sharing updates, coordinating care, and keeping everything aligned. It’s a connected, strategic approach that actually works.
This kind of healing takes structure, courage, and a guide who’s seen it all. I’ve got the gray hair and the battle scars to prove it.
I’ve walked with couples through their darkest moments—and helped them find a path forward.
I won’t sugarcoat things, but I will stay in it with you.
What I do in the room
When a couple walks in the door, there’s usually confusion, pain, and panic. The betrayed partner is in survival mode. The partner dealing with compulsive sexual behavior may be overwhelmed or defensive—or just shut down.
That’s where I come in.
I guide couples through a step-by-step process that includes:
-
Creating safety for both partners
-
Setting real boundaries
-
Supporting truth-telling and disclosure
-
Addressing the trauma response
-
Helping each person find their footing
-
And rebuilding—slowly, intentionally, and only if both partners want it
This isn’t feel-good therapy. It’s real work. But for couples who are ready, it can change everything.
