Hi! I'm Jory Wilson
I work with both couples and individuals who are impacted by compulsive sexual behavior. I understand the obstacles that this behavior can cause and I'd be happy to help guide you on your healing journey.
My Story
I understand the pain and confusion that comes with compulsive sexual behavior because I’ve lived it.
Growing up, my family never explicitly talked about “compulsive sexual behavior,” but its effects were undeniable. Fear, anxiety, sadness, and isolation were ever-present, while anger, addiction, and compulsive behavior played out in unhealthy ways. After years of emotional suffering, I knew I needed to do something different or risk losing myself completely.
I sought help, and in doing so, I found freedom from compulsive sexual behavior. My wife and I are now in a stronger place than ever, and our life together is full of growth and joy.
Individual Therapy for the Acting-Out Partner
In individual therapy, I work closely with those struggling with compulsive sexual behavior to understand the emotional wounds and unmet needs that often fuel addiction.
My approach helps you break the cycle of destructive behavior by identifying your triggers and developing healthier coping strategies. This work is about reconnecting with yourself, building accountability, and ultimately setting the stage for a healthier relationship, both with yourself and with your partner.
Therapy provides a space for self-reflection and growth, where you can take responsibility for your healing.

In individual therapy with me, you can expect to:
-
Explore the underlying emotional and psychological causes of compulsive sexual behavior.
-
Identify personal triggers and patterns that fuel the addiction.
-
Develop healthier coping mechanisms and ways to manage stress or emotional discomfort.
-
Cultivate self-reflection and personal accountability on the road to recovery.
-
Build emotional resilience and regain a sense of control over your life and actions.
-
Create a roadmap for healing, both for yourself and in your relationships.
Counseling for Couples Impacted by Sex Addiction
I know how devastating it can be when addiction or emotional distance strains a relationship.
Through couples counseling, I help partners rebuild the trust and emotional intimacy that addiction has eroded. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for both partners to openly express their feelings and begin healing.
We don’t just focus on managing symptoms—we dig deeper to understand the root causes of disconnection. By doing this, we can open the door to empathy and understanding, giving you the tools to move forward together.
In couples therapy, you can expect to:
-
Create a safe, open space for both partners to express their feelings without judgment.
-
Identify and address the root causes of disconnection in the relationship.
-
Work on rebuilding trust and emotional intimacy after betrayal or trauma.
-
Develop healthier communication and conflict-resolution strategies.
-
Learn tools for vulnerability, empathy, and understanding, creating a stronger connection.
-
Focus on healing together, not placing blame or pointing fingers.
