Welcome!
I'm Malori Evans

My personal connection with addiction recovery fuels my passion to help others on the same path. I'm here to help you cultivate healthier relationships - either with sex, yourself, and/or your partner!

My Story

As a queer woman in recovery from addiction, I have experienced the transformative journey of healing from both personal and relational struggles.

My own experiences navigating childhood trauma, complex family dynamics, grief, and neurodiversity (being autistic and ADHD) deeply shape the way I connect with clients. I understand firsthand how these challenges can affect not only individual well-being but also relationships, especially when addiction, including compulsive sexual behavior, is involved.

Additionally, I am the partner of a neurodiverse husband and a mother of two wonderful children. These life experiences have provided me with a unique lens through which I view the impact of compulsive behaviors and addiction on relationships.

I’m deeply committed to helping individuals and couples heal from the devastation of addiction, especially when it comes to the wounds caused by sex addiction and betrayal trauma.

Supporting Individuals Impacted by Sex Addiction

Addiction to sex and compulsive sexual behaviors often stems from deeper emotional wounds—such as trauma, shame, or unmet needs.

In individual therapy, I help the acting-out partner explore the underlying causes of their behavior, break the cycle of compulsivity, and work toward personal healing.

For the betrayed partner, I provide a space to process the pain, rebuild self-worth, and set healthy boundaries.

In individual therapy for the acting-out partner, you can expect to:

  • Identify emotional triggers and underlying issues fueling compulsive sexual behaviors.

  • Develop emotional awareness and accountability for your actions.

  • Build healthier coping mechanisms to break free from the cycle of addiction.

  • Rebuild self-worth and develop strategies for maintaining healthier behaviors.

  • Understand the impact of your actions on your partner and work toward rebuilding trust.

For the betrayed partner, individual therapy offers you:

  • A safe, supportive space to process feelings of betrayal, hurt, and emotional fallout.

  • Guidance in setting healthy boundaries to protect your well-being.

  • Help in rebuilding your sense of self and empowerment in the face of betrayal.

  • Support in navigating your healing journey and finding clarity in your relationship decisions.

Counseling for Couples Impacted by Sex Addiction

Sex addiction can create deep emotional rifts in relationships, often leaving both partners feeling isolated, mistrustful, and overwhelmed.

Through couples coaching, I work to help partners rebuild trust, foster emotional intimacy, and heal the relational damage caused by compulsive sexual behaviors.

In couples coaching with me, you can expect to:

  • Rebuild trust after betrayal due to compulsive sexual behaviors.

  • Understand and address the emotional impact of sex addiction on both partners.

  • Create a safe space for open, nonjudgmental conversations about difficult emotions.

  • Develop healthier communication patterns and conflict-resolution strategies.

  • Learn how to rebuild emotional intimacy and reconnection after addiction has strained the relationship.
